About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Job Duration : 13-week assignment Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM), Monday through Friday Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 1 year in the specialty required License : Valid Illinois license required Certifications : COVID-19 vaccination and booster status required (Medical / Religious Exemptions Only) Must-Have : Candidates must reside within 30 minutes of the facility for on-call requirements Job Description : Required to take 1-2 on-call days per week- On-call duty every 3rd weekend from Friday 4 : 30 PM until 7 : 00 AM Monday- Accepts local travelers at the same rate- Must adhere to vaccination requirements, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons only- Floating within hospital units as needed- Background policy must be addressed prior to offer- Prior permanent employees must have a break of at least 6 monthsThis role requires a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to support the PACU with a strong emphasis on adhering to staffing and vaccination requirements.
