Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager specialized in Sustainability and Product Compliance to join our team.
The ideal candidate will lead and execute initiatives related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors within our supply chain including our manufacturing facilities.
This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, driving sustainability initiatives, and fostering partnerships with suppliers to promote responsible practices throughout the supply chain.
You Will :
- Sustainability Strategy Development : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
- Supply Chain Transparency : Drive initiatives to enhance transparency throughout the supply chain, including supplier assessments, audits, and monitoring mechanisms to identify and mitigate ESG risks.
- Product Compliance : Ensure products meet all relevant environmental and regulatory standards by overseeing compliance processes and collaborating with product development, Compliance, and procurement teams.
Some examples include EU Battery Directive, IMDS, PROP 65, CDX, CMRT, KES07, REACH Regulation (EC 1907 / 2006), RoHS Directive (Directive 2011 / 65 / EU), Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive (Directive 2012 / 19 / EU), CE Marking, ISO Standards such as ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems).
- Stakeholder Engagement : Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, industry associations, and NGOs, to promote sustainable practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Risk Management : Identify and assess ESG-related risks within the supply chain, develop mitigation strategies, and implement robust risk management processes to safeguard against potential disruptions.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives and regularly report on progress to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Supplier Collaboration : Build strong relationships with suppliers to encourage adoption of sustainable practices, promote ethical sourcing, and drive innovation in environmental and social responsibility.
- Regulatory Compliance : Stay abreast of relevant regulations and industry standards related to sustainability and product compliance, ensuring adherence across the supply chain.
- Continuous Improvement : Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize supply chain sustainability performance, including implementing innovative solutions and best practices.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, environmental science, sustainability, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on sustainability and product compliance.
- Strong understanding of ESG principles, sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB), and relevant regulations (e.g., REACH, RoHS).
- Proven track record of implementing sustainability initiatives and driving positive change within complex supply chains.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Project management experience, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in supply chain management, sustainability, or related field (e.g., CSCMP, CSCP, LEED) is a plus.
