Certifications : BLS required
Must-Have :
- Predominantly 3 / 4 in Ortho and / or Neuro skill sets
- Experience with a majority of the following cases : Lap chole, Lap appy, Ex lap, I&D, Bariatric, Colorectal, PEG & Trach, DaVinci cases
- DaVinci experience highly preferred
- Oncology, Ortho, Neuro experience highly preferred
- First-time travelers not accepted
Job Description :
- Operating Room RN for day shift with possible night shift rotation
- Weeknight call requirements : 1-2 nights per week on average
- Weekend call requirements : Approximately every 4-5 weeks (24 hours on Saturday or Sunday, 1-2 days per month)
- Block schedule cannot be accommodated
- Must attend all mandatory orientations and a charting class during the orientation week
- Mandatory Steele gray scrubs with facility logo; OR scrubs are provided
- Possibility for off-shifting (1-3 shifts in a week) once every 4-week schedule period
- Work week is Monday-Sunday; contracts must end on a Sunday
- Facility is 100% nicotine-free; nicotine use risks immediate termination
- Two weekends required in a four-week schedule period (Saturday / Sunday for day shift, Friday / Saturday for night shift)
