About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 1.5 years required.

License : Must hold a valid nursing license.

Certifications : Current BLS and PALS certifications.

Must-Have : Experience with CRRT, ECMO procedures, and ventilation.

Experience in a Level I trauma facility with strong trauma skills is required.

Must be able to float to NICU and provide support as needed in a pediatric emergency department.

Description :

This position requires working with critically ill pediatric patients.

The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1 : 2.

Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of four shifts scheduled on weekends.

This role involves caring for patients with diagnoses such as respiratory distress, renal failure, and trauma.

The nurse will participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Floating to other units, including NICU, is required.

Strong clinical skills and recent PICU experience are essential.

The traveler should be comfortable working with a diverse patient population including neonates, infants, and adolescents.

Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, with shifts rotating during the contract period.

Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements is mandatory.

Religious and medical exemptions are accepted with appropriate documentation.
