We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the modernization of utilities in the area.Will be involved in the project from bid to completion.
Budget, scheduling experience needed.o Position-Specific Knowledge & Experienceo Principles and practices used in the planning, design and relocation of utilities facilities.
o Contract administration principles and practices.o Principles and practices of program development and administration.o Pertinent federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations, including public contractlaw.
o Civil, structural, electrical, traffic, geotechnical, and mechanical engineering principlesand practices.o Estimating principles and practices.
o Principles of supervision, training and performance management.o Demonstrated experience in effectively leading and managing a project team.
o Proven ability to prepare and administer program budgets, and prepare cost estimates,and concise and accurate administrative and financial reports.
o Ability to effectively interpret and apply applicable federal, state and local policies, lawsand regulations.o Able to prepare and review the preparation of plans and specifications.
- o Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing MS Office applicationsA Bachelor"s degree from an accredited college or university, with major course work inmechanical or electrical engineering, construction management, constructiontechnology or a related field;
- AND, a minimum of ten (10) years of responsible, relatedto the area of construction management, including two (2) years of projectmanagement, administrative and / or supervisory responsibility;
ORo Ten (10) years of increasingly responsible experience in the area of construction?five(5) of which must be in construction management, including two (2) years of projectmanagement, administrative and / or supervisory responsibility.
