Responsibilities :

• Provide routine individualized care to the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities
• Monitor and report changes in patient health status
• Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing patients
• Provide specialized healthcare such as administering medication and changing bandages
• Teach family members ways to care for the patient
• Experience in hospice, home health, or other related fields
• Ability to handle physical workload

Oasis currently has (and is bringing on) long-term clients. These clients need qualified caregivers for hourly shifts which currently vary in length (from 2-12 hours a day), depending on the client.

We have a primary need for daytime caregivers. (If you already have your state HCA number and clearance, you are eligible for priority screening)

Requirements :

• At least one year of recent caregiving experience
• Reliable transportation
• Flexible hours / scheduling with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues, and maintain confidentiality
• Must clear 5 background checks and drug screen
• Must be registered or willing to register with the state as a Home Care Aide as required by law.

• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly, professional and respectful manner
