Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Intensive Care - (RRT - PICU)

StartDate : ASAP Available Shifts : 12 N Pay Rate : $1870.10 - $2154.68

REQUIRED : RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS Job Summary : Administers all forms of respiratory care, both critical and general therapy, and directs and manages the respiratory and pulmonary care for a designated group of patients.

Provides respiratory assessment, support, treatment, and diagnostic tests as part of the healthcare team.Certifications - Required :

• RESP REG - Respiratory Therapist, Registered NBRC RRT
• AHA BCLS - Basic Life Support
• AHA PALS : Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• AHA NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• AHA ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certificate Licensure - Required :
• Respiratory Care Practitioner - PA state license Education - Required :
• Associate's Degree Graduate from an RRT program accredited by the commission of accreditation for Respiratory CareExperience - Required :
• 1 year Experience as a registered respiratory therapist in either PICU or Level 4 NICU.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required :
• Ability to provide respiratory therapy methodologies and techniques.
• Ability to operate and trouble-shoot diagnostic equipment.Education - Preferred :
• Bachelor's Degree Graduate from an RRT program accredited by the commission of accreditation for Respiratory Care
