What you will do :

• Performs engineering calculations, analysis, research, and design
• Under direction of supervisor or work leader, performs routine assignments crafted to develop professional engineering work knowledge, gain familiarity with techniques, approaches, practices and the nature of engineering systems, equipment, etc.

and to develop the ability to apply fundamental engineering principles and techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out sequence of related engineering tasks.

• Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned

Who you are : You have :

You have :

• 0-2+ years of relevant engineering experience with basic knowledge of engineering concepts, fundamentals and theory along with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Preferred degree : Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or Chemical Engineering)
• Excellent written and verbal communicator (to include technical writing) with effective decision-making skills

You can :

• Show the ability to learn and apply engineering theories and concepts while use analytical and abstract thinking skills to solve complex problems
• Develop project management skills and prioritize multiple tasks while working within a team environment

You are :

• Skilled in interpreting codes, regulations and practices while developing effective planning, project and organization skills
• Able to offer strong digital literacy in using applications of software programs

Working Conditions :

• Work performed in office environment 76-100% of the time, Working in the Cold up to 25%, Energized Wires Up to 25%, Working in the Heat up to 25%, Outdoors up to 25%, Radiation up to 25% and Travel up to 25%

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to :

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to :

Ability to : understand, remember and apply oral and / or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate / explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
