About Us - Transitional Care Unit (TCU)
Located on the sixth floor of the Tower at Freeman Hospital West
20-bed ICU step-down unit, which provides care for high acuity patients that require close monitoring

What You'll Do
Under the direction of professional RN's, systematically and continually assesses the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families;
plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.
Requirements
Must obtain a Missouri Registered Nurse license or Registered Nurse license from a compact state within ninety (90) days after graduation or thirty (30) days after passing the NCLEX exam in a state other than Missouri.
If obtaining a compact license it must be held in the Registered Nurse’s state of residence.
