What you will be doing :
- Maintain a hybrid role balancing direct patient careresponsibilities with administrative duties
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to healthcareproviders
- Actively participate in patient careactivities including consultations assessments and treatmentplanning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinaryteams to develop and implement care plans
- Allocate time effectively between clinical andadministrative responsibilities
- Lead andparticipate in multidisciplinary meetings committees and taskforces
- Oversee provider schedulingproductivity and efficiency
- Monitor andevaluate clinical performance metrics patient satisfaction scoresand population health outcomes
- Engage inphysician recruitment onboarding and retention efforts
- Foster a culture of continuous learning professionaldevelopment and knowledge sharing among medical staff
- Represent the organization in external forums conferencesand professional associations
- Collaborate withexecutive leadership department heads and other stakeholders todevelop and implement strategic initiatives business plans andperformance improvement strategies
Experience you will need :
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medicalschool
- Board certification in a relevantmedical specialty (e.g. Internal Medicine Family MedicinePediatrics)
- Active unrestricted medicallicense to practice in the state of New York
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with at least 2years in a leadership or management role
- Demonstrated expertise in population health managementhealthcare analytics and quality improvementmethodologies
- Strong communicationinterpersonal and leadership skills
- Proventrack record of building collaborative relationships with diversestakeholders and driving organizational change
- Commitment to equity diversity and inclusion inhealthcare delivery and workforce development
- Advanced degree (e.g. MPH MBA MHA) or certification inhealthcare management population health or related field(preferred)
- Experience working in a communityhealth center academic medical center or integrated healthcaresystem serving diverse populations (preferred)
- Familiarity with valuebased care models accountable careorganizations (ACOs) and alternative payment arrangements(preferred)
- Proficiency in healthcare ITsystems electronic health records (EHR) and data analyticsplatforms (preferred)
