Responsibilities :
- Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management of clients
- Prescribing or recommending medication or other forms of treatment or related therapeutic procedures
- Complete structured clinical interviews with all new patients
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess clients' clinical problems and health care needs
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including medication, medication review, and therapy
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of PMHNP experience is required
- PMHNP certification is required
- Active NYS nurse practitioner license
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Compensation :
- The pay rate : $90 per hour depending on experience
