JOB SUMMARY :
A leading FAANG E-Commerce company is seeking a Business Data Analyst who can review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
The analyst formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies, writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
This position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 6-8 years of experience. Familiarity with various concepts, practices, and procedures in the field is essential.
The role relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks, and leading and directing the work of others.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Build reporting capability to measure satisfaction metrics.
- Proactively identify problems with significant business impact and facilitate analysis.
- Define the problem, requirements, analytical approach, and design for automation.
- Communicate metrics and analysis effectively.
- Deliver deep dives in the form of narratives that influence business direction.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or statistical analysis role.
- Proficient with SQL.
- Advanced skills with data mining, query development, and visualization tools such as SQL, PL / SQL, Quicksight, Tableau, and MS Excel.
- Experience gathering business requirements and using business intelligence tools to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports.
- Experience in scripting for automation and metrics reporting with knowledge in AWS technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related technical field.
