What You’ll Do :
- Conduct forensic investigations of building failures, including structural deficiencies, water intrusion, material failures, and code compliance issues.
- Perform on-site evaluations, document findings, and prepare detailed forensic reports.
- Analyze architectural and construction documents to assess compliance with standards and best practices.
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, attorneys, and insurance professionals to provide expert insights and recommendations.
- Develop and present remediation strategies, repair solutions, and cost estimates.
- Provide litigation support and expert testimony when necessary.
- Stay current with industry advancements in building materials, forensic techniques, and code requirements.

Licensed Architect (AIA) in Minnesota. Other states a plus7-10+ years of experience with a wide range of buildings preferredStrong knowledge of construction methods, building envelope systems, waterproofing, and structural designExperience with building codes, ADA compliance, and construction litigation support is a plusExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing building performance issuesProficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and forensic analysis toolsStrong verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting and client interactionsAbility to travel for site investigations and client meetings as neededIf you're ready to apply your architectural experience in forensic architectural investigations and enjoy uncovering the "why" behind building failures, apply today!
