Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Test Engineer to join our team in the DMV area.

We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. If you are looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Leads and managing the software testing efforts of an Agile Product Team.
  • Create and execute Test Plans, ensure the quality of software releases, and identify and report any defects or issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as developers and product managers, to ensure all software is tested thoroughly and meets the required quality standards.
  • Mentor and coach junior testers and provide guidance on best practices in software testing.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer, preferably in a software development environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline.High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional experience may be used in lieu of required degree.
  • DoD 8570.01-m- IAT Level II Certification must be obtained within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order : CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Development.
  • 4 years of experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience with automated test platforms such as Selenium.

Clearance Requirements :

This role requires an active TS / SCI

Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
