About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab Tech Job Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 10 Hour Days Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years with coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral experience License : Tech : Must hold an appropriate license or certification equivalent to RT or RCIS Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : - Critical patient assessment skills- Arrhythmia recognition and treatment- Proficiency in coronary, complex PCI, and peripheral cases- Ability to perform table movement (panning) Job Description : Responsibilities include working in 2 Cath labs and 2 Hybrid peripheral / OR settings- Handling patient cases involving coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, complex total occlusions, diagnostic Cath procedures, valvular disease, renal disease, carotid stenosis, limb salvage, peripheral stenosis, thrombosis disease, Impella insertion, LVAD insertions, and more- Utilize devices such as IABP, Impella, Rotoblator, and Penumbra- Comply with a 1 : 1 RN-to-patient ratio- Engage in weekend rotations every 4th weekend and be on-call 1-2 days per week- Use EPIC charting system, with Cupid experience preferred- Participate in a 4-day orientation (10-hour shifts)- Follow proper procedures outlined by the facility, including wearing procedural scrub colors provided by the facilityEnsure you meet the specified experience and certification requirements to be considered for this opportunity.
