What you will be doing :

The FFL Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory, building materials kits, and shipping & receiving functions, ensuring all necessary materials are provided to students, faculty, and staff. The FFL Fulfillment Specialist also handles incoming and outgoing communication with students, faculty, and staff concerning the fulfillment process.

  • Assists in inspect incoming firearms, secure transfer documents, and ship firearms
  • Follow FFL processes for receiving and shipping of firearms
  • Receive shipments and update inventory system appropriately
  • Packages necessary materials for shipment
  • Works with the Fulfillment Manager to ship replacement materials to students
  • Adheres to all state and federal regulations surrounding shipments
  • Ensure shipments for students, faculty, and staff are sent in a timely manner
  • Responds to all emails and phone calls surrounding the shipping process
  • Proactively communicates with students, faculty, and staff when any shipment delays occur
  • Other tasks as assigned

  • Requirements :

    What we are looking for :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred
  • Two years or more professional experience with FFL processes required
  • One year or more experience in a shipping or warehouse environment required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, electric trucks, paper crimpers, etc.
  • Some travel required, up to 5%
  • Work Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, working from a monitor, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse
  • Required to stand for varying lengths of time
  • Regular activities include repetitive motion while building lab materials kits, processing shipments, ability to move throughout the fulfillment center and throughout the building
  • Occasional lifting required of up to 50 pounds
  • Must have a clean driving record to utilize a company vehicle
