M-F rotate weekend call
Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients participates in patient and family teaching : and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Duties :
- Assessment and identification of patient needs and implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service
- Assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems
- Performs technical aspects of care competently
- Delegation of nursing care activities and provisions of supervision.
Requirements :
- Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.
- Oncology Nursing Certification preferred
- Three years of experience med / surg or oncology nursing experience preferred.
- Must obtain active ONS / ONCC Chemotherapy / Biotherapy Certification within 3 months.
