This position is Contract to Hire and Open to Remote

PRIMARY PURPOSE : To troubleshoot various securityincidents across the organization. To assist with providing feedback andresolution to mitigate future security shortfalls. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS andRESPONSIBILITIES Assists with detection, monitoring, and resolution of securityincidents. Administers various IT Security tools and applications. Assists ITgroups and business units as necessary in troubleshooting compatibility issuesbetween security tools and business or productivity programs. Assists managementin investigating IT or cyber-security events and suggests resolution. Providesfeedback and suggestions to improve IT Security processes and procedures. Worksclosely with project managers to meet and complete project milestonesaccurately and on time. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES Performsother duties as assigned. Supports the organization\'s quality program(s).Travels as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & LICENSING Bachelor\'s degree from anaccredited college or university preferred. Major in information systems orcomputer science preferred.

Experience Three (3) years of related experience orequivalent combination of education and experience required to includetransmission control protocol / internet protocol (TCP / IP) services or networksexperience. Experience with various operating systems, desktop productivitysoftware, and network topologies highly preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

Basic knowledge of the security confidentiality,integrity, and availability (CIA) Triad Basic knowledge of security informationand events management (SIEM) solutions.

Ability to work with a broad range of security tools andnew technologies

Ability to handle confidential sensitive information withintegrity

Excellent oral and written communication skills,including presentation skills PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

Analytical and interpretive skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
