Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical Surgical Flr 5
Shift : Nights, 7p-7 : 30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week
Length : 20 Weeks
Weekend Requirement : 5 weekend shifts in a 6 week period
Holiday Requirement : yes - if there is a need
Requirements :of Beds : 42
Nurse : Patient Ratios : 1 : 5 occasional 1 : 6-very rarely happens
Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Total joints, ortho-hip fx, spine surgeries-lumbar and cervical; Urology procedures, CBI;
General surgeries- choles, bowel resections, complicated mastectomies; GYN overflow-total hysters; Medical overflow-COPD, some
behavioral health, sepsis, infections.
Must be willing to take students, may precept new travelers- please note on interview they are willing.
Will float between MedSurg 5, MedSurg 6, and a 9 bed overflow unit.
Scrub Color / Dress Code : Any color as long as clean and professional.
