Responsibilities
- Manage the US & EMEA benefits functions including vendor relationships, annual benefit renewals, enrollment process, employee and management communications
- Lead research and analysis as it relates to benefit plans to assist in negotiations, plan design, offerings and benefits policy development
- Partner with benefit brokers to ensure compliance on regulatory filings and plan documentation
- Work with vendors to develop a wellness strategy to educate and engage employees to be active participants in their health management
- Conduct benefits orientations, seminars, and one-on-one meetings as needed, and train associates on the process
- Review benefits carrier connection uploads and investigate any errors
- Stay knowledgeable on upcoming regulations and trends as it pertains to benefits and tax compliance
- Manage the development and work of the Payroll and Benefits Associates in Americas and EMEA
- Collaborate with HR on streamlining processes as it pertains to onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining the accuracy of data
- Support the Payroll and Benefits team as needed by auditing the completed payroll and participating in quarterly cross-processing as part of the disaster recovery plan
- Prepare monthly benefits reports for 3rd party insurers, and auditing / processing of monthly invoices (Cycle-to-Work, Pension, Meals, etc.)
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of data through the development and execution of timely audits
- Manage leave of absences and keep key team members informed of changes in status
- Carry out initiatives and projects set by stakeholders and the Global HR team, including Workday integration and configuration
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Human Resources
- At least 7 years of HR experience in payroll and benefits
- The ability to execute processes and tasks with little supervision
- The ability to make prudent decisions based on company’s goals and objectives
- The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters and respond effectively to such situations
- Strong communication skills
- Strong PC skills (MS Office) and knowledge of any well-known payroll and benefits systems, especially Workday
- The ability to learn and understand new software and applications quickly
Anticipated annual base salary range is $135,000-$165,000 plus eligible for discretionary bonus.
