  • Senior-level engineering role with project leadership responsibilities over large-scale engineering projects or multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership : Assist in planning, development and coordination of an engineering project with personnel needs, and schedules.
  • Product Design Expertise : Act as the engineering expert on assigned projects within the product line.
  • Technical Consulting : Serve as a technical consultant assisting with solution presentation and site performance demonstrations.
  • Advisory Role : Act as staff advisor and consultant on technical specialties for equipment or program function.
  • Project Accountability : Ensure assigned tasks meet specifications within established strategy and achieve functionality.
  • Team Oversight : Ensure project tasks are completed within budget, schedule and priority.
  • Design Validation : Conduct engineering design reviews to ensure fit, function and accuracy.
  • Process Optimization : Recommend changes to methods and procedures to improve project completion or engineering processes.
  • Progress Reporting : Keep leaders informed on project status with timely updates and contingency plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of project items.

    • Required Qualifications

  • Experience : Minimum of 5-6 years of relevant engineering experience, with a focus on product design and development.
  • Technical Skills : Strong calculations for engineering analyses (stress, tolerance, kinematic); proficiency in EPDM, SAP, IES, and standard Windows software.
  • Mechanical Aptitude : Deep understanding of mechanical components and systems in manufacturing, and how machine performance affects upstream / downstream processes.
  • Design Deliverables : Ability to create detailed assembly and detail drawings, BOMs, timing diagrams, and comprehensive project documentation.
  • Supervisory Guidance : Ability to operate with minimal supervision, escalating complex challenges to leadership as needed.
  • Communication : Excellent verbal and written skills to articulate technical concepts and project updates.
  • Interpersonal & Leadership : Strong team-oriented mindset and experience coordinating multiple engineers on complex projects.
