Your Opportunity :

This position is a full-time, in-person position reporting to the Chief Marking and Operations Officer. As the IOS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge iOS MyBambu application.

Job Responsibilities :

• Application Development : Design, develop, and maintain MyBambu iOS app, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• User Experience : Collaborate with UI / UX designers to create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the customer experience.
• Integration : Work closely with backend developers to integrate the iOS app with RESTful APIs and other services, ensuring seamless communication and data synchronization.
• Security : Implement and maintain best practices for mobile app security, including encryption, secure coding, and authentication mechanisms.
• Testing : Conduct thorough testing of the iOS app, including unit, integration, and performance testing, to ensure a bug-free and stable release.
• Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in iOS development, and apply this knowledge to improve the app continually.
• Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the iOS app, including technical specifications, user guides, and release notes.
• Troubleshooting : Identify and fix bugs and performance issues and provide technical support for app-related queries and problems.
• App Store Management : Manage the MyBambu submission process to the Apple App Store, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and requirements.

Skill and Abilities :

• Technical Expertise :
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
• Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and Core Graphics.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile databases.
• Familiarity with mobile security best practices and secure coding techniques.
• Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines and automated testing for mobile apps.
• Understanding of design patterns like MVC, MVVM, and VIPER.
• Knowledge of Apple Pay integration and other payment processing tools (a plus).
• Familiarity with SwiftUI and Combine frameworks (a plus).

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify issues and devise effective solutions.
• Ability to anticipate potential problems and proactively address them.

• Meticulous in coding practices, ensuring high-quality, bug-free code.

Job Requirements :

• Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in iOS app development.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying iOS apps in the App Store, preferably in the fintech or banking industry.

Physical Requirements :

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
