Position Summary : This role involves supporting the communication needs of students while maintaining a flexible and responsive approach to their evolving requirements.
Responsibilities :
- Ability to organize workload and prioritize assigned tasks.
- Openness and willingness to adapt based on new data and information.
- Flexibility and responsiveness to the changing needs of the students and staff served.
- Reports to the Building Principal.
Qualifications :
- Master's Degree in Speech-Communication, Speech-Language Pathology, or Communication Disorders / Speech Services from an accredited institution of higher education.
- Appropriate Colorado Department of Education Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist ages 0-21.
Work Environment Requirements :
- Work occurs in the office, classroom, and educational settings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to adapt to the changing needs of students and staff.
Physical Demands :
- Work primarily involves walking, standing, and sitting.
- Requires lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
- Use of computer keyboard and manual sign forms.
- Normal or aided vision and hearing are required for effective communication.
