We are currently searching for an experienced Administrative Assistant to support our West Gulf Region located in New Orleans, LA .
What you’ll be doing :
- Provides administrative support such as answering phones, maintaining office supplies, scheduling and organizing activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, and training activities
- Prepares and types correspondence, memos, reports and supporting documents; files; orders supplies and equipment. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes.
Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy
- Prepare outgoing mail and sorts incoming mail
- Provides support by scanning, filing, and copying
- Performs data entry into project specific databases
- Assists with marketing proposal preparations
- Ensures company vehicles have up-to-date registrations
- Schedules company vehicle maintenance
- Assumes other duties as directed by immediate supervisor
- Works cooperatively with the team to achieve objectives
- Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with all employees and clients
What you need to have :
- High School education or equivalent with 2 - 3 years of administrative support experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proficient with MS Office, with specific knowledge of Word and Excel
- Professional office etiquette and strong customer service for our internal and external customers
