What will a Pharmacy Nurse Consultant do every day?
- Reviewing aspects of medication systems and training staff on the systems
- Advising in narcotic diversion and discrepancy resolution
- Improving the process of medication management in facilities as needed
- Educating facilities on current policies and procedures
Pharmacy Nurse Consultant minimum requirements will include :
- Valid LPN or RN license required
- Nursing experience in a clinical setting required.
- Long-Term care, hospice, or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated active listening skills, exceptional phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills required
- Intermediate computer skills and passion for technology required
- Superb written and oral communication skills required
- Strong organizational and analytical skills required
- Must be able to travel within your region on a daily basis, some overnight travel required
- Must be able to actively contribute to a positive team environment and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks, remain focused, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Ability to convey a positive and professional image to supervisor and employees
