Senior Proposal Coordinator
Colorado Springs (Hybrid near the office is ok)
Full-Time / Perm / W2 (not a contract job)
$90,000 to $100,000
Seeking a Senior Proposal Coordinator with experience in proposal coordination or a related field within the DoD and Federal sector, coupled with strong organizational
and communication skills. The candidate should have a strong understanding of federal procurement regulations and the proposal development process.
What you will do
- Identify qualifying opportunities and track the status of submissions
- Work with the engineering teams to draft, edit, and structure the RFPs
- Assist with identifying strengths and capability gaps in meeting requirements
- Support the internal proposal process from start to finish
- Identify appropriate team partners and manage partner tasks and responsibilities
- Develop appropriate pricing models with management and the pricing staff
- Direct the development of the Executive Summary and other key proposal summaries
- Collaborate with stakeholders and keep the team engaged throughout the proposal development process
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage proposal schedules and deliverables
- Coordinate and support proposal kickoff meetings, internal and external processes, and reviews
- Ensure compliance with proposal requirements and deadlines
- Write, edit, and review proposal content to ensure clarity and alignment
- Manage proposal production and submission processes
- Maintain a repository of proposal templates and past performance information
- Collaborate with technical and subject matter experts to gather and refine content
- Conduct post-submission debriefs and lessons learned
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in proposal coordination
- A 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
- Basic knowledge of federal procurement regulations
- Familiarity with the proposal development process
- Familiarity with the SAM.gov website
