Responsibilities :
In this role, you will :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in a variety of academic subjects.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative teaching strategies to engage students and promote learning.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction as necessary to ensure academic growth.
- Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- State certification in Special Education.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine mitment to the success of every student.
