The Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School, a pluralistic community Jewish day school, seeks qualified candidates to fill potential openings for the position of Lower School Judaic Studies Substitute Teacher in grades Junior K-5 for the current academic year. Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience and / or interest in developing skills supporting students' proficiency in Hebrew language and Judaic studies content
• Takes initiative and is highly responsible
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
• Ability to work with students across elementary grade levels
• Collaborative team player
• Patient, calm, and supportive, especially in high-intensity situations
• Excellent command of Hebrew language; native Hebrew speaker preferred
• Bachelor's degree required; degree in Education or related field preferred
• Fluency in Hebrew
