Sr. Sales Executive, Digital Marketing (San Diego)

We’re looking for experienced Senior Sales Executives to join our FindLaw Field Sales Team.

As a Senior Sales Executive, you are responsible for developing and growing new accounts within a large base of small to mid-sized law firms in an assigned territory.

You will utilize your prospecting and consultative selling skills to identify opportunities to provide FindLaw web-based marketing and advertising solutions to your current or prospective customers.

You will also partner with our internal client management team to support the post-sales satisfaction and retention of existing FindLaw customers.

About the Role

  • Attain sales targets and quota on a monthly basis in assigned territory
  • Consult with clients regarding web-based marketing strategies and solutions that will meet their business needs and will improve their ability to generate business
  • Strategically grow a customer base through prospecting and cold calling
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding existing and new clients to identify and resolve client concerns; establish and maintain current and potential client relationships
  • Be actively in the field with some overnight travel (based on territory) to various client sites

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 2-3+ years B2B online marketing, media sales, and digital marketing experience including SEO, website development, PPC, online advertising, and social media (required)
  • Consultative sales experience utilizing data-driven marketing strategies and tactics to deliver on customer needs
  • Legal industry knowledge and experience preferred
  • Technical aptitude (MS Office, internet applications, Salesforce.com)
  • Must reside within your territory and have the ability to travel with some overnight trips

Knowledge & Skills :

  • Working knowledge of sales process, methods, and techniques; high ability to prospect for new business
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interpret marketplace needs and translate them into products and / or services
  • Proven organization skills, effective time management skills, and ability to work independently

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states : CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and / or remote.

The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $182,000 - $338,000.
