MANAGER NURSING EDUCATION

As the Director of Nursing Education, you will collaborate with the Senior Director to ensure enterprise-wide strategic approaches.
You will ensure nursing standards and best practices are realized within their specialty. Your duties will include but are not limited to : Managing strategic goals, staff development, quality improvement and the coordination of multiple disciplines.
Coordinating and directing the work of the Nursing Education teams. Leading the planning, implementation and evaluation process for new and existing education initiatives including the establishment of metrics to evaluate the impact of the educational offerings.
Managing day-to-day staffing and communication to team.The ideal caregiver is someone who : Has critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work autonomously.
Has exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills. Able to build trust and command organizational respect. Has High-level management and leadership skills.
Is experience with conflict resolution and problem-solving. Has written and verbal communication skills. Has organizational and multitasking skills.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities : Ensures consistency with the standards and guidelines set forth by Professional Boards in regards to structure, academic standards, record keeping and the evaluation process.
Collaborates with affiliated educational institutions and CC clinical directors to develop strategies to address long-term staff needs.
Functions as a key liaison to strategic educational partners.Other duties as assigned.Education : Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
Master's degree in Nursing preferred.Certifications : Current state licensure as Registered Nurse plexity of Work : Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Work Experience : Five years' experience in education or related environment which could include - coaching / precepting / mentoring on an ongoing basis- serving consistently in a unit-based champion role- leading educational initiatives at unit / institute / hospital level consistentlyExperience in specialty area assigned to work preferred.
e.g.Critical Care / ED)Physical Requirements : Typical physical demands include the ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
Requires corrected vision to normal range.Personal Protective Equipment : Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay RangeMinimum hourly : $44.53Maximum hourly : $67.92The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
