Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Electrophysiology Lab PACU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for post-anesthesia care and discharge of post EP procedural patients.

You will plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for assigned patients.

• You will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care
• You will provide age appropriate direct patient care
• You will participate in monitoring and controlling a safe environment
• You will monitor patient in recovery phase

Job Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2 years of general nursing experience in an acute care setting or previous PACU, EP Recovery or critical care experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Education

Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licenses and Certifications

• Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License. If Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David’s Healthcare policy
