Qualifications :
- Professional Engineer License required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5-10+ years of experience in land development / site design and permitting
- Experience with residential subdivisions, commercial, manufacturing / industrial and / or office developments
- Understand and implement jurisdictional requirements and PA municipal planning process
- Knowledge of stormwater management design regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Self-starter who can work independently and with team members (help department manager with running projects)
- Excellent written, communication and organization skills
- Business Development / Marketing experience is always a plus!
Job Description / Duties :
- Lead due diligence site investigations, zoning ordinance reviews & utility research
- Final grading design with Civil 3D and earthwork analysis
- Assist junior engineers with designs
- Preparation of E&S design, permitting, calculations, and BMPs
- Review & coordination of utility systems and stormwater management design
- Verification of site work construction cost estimates
- Coordination & written correspondence with clients, counsel, jurisdictions, utilities and contractors
- Attendance to and making public plan presentations and client management
