SENIOR REAL ESTATE ATTORNEY/PARTNER

Duties :

  • Execute projects in a timely and professional manner
  • Build and nurture positive relationships with clients and team members
  • Attain minimum billing hours (utilization) on a monthly and annual basis
  • Attain Effective Rate goals on a monthly and annual basis
  • Develop new client referral sources for business development on an annual basis that leads to growth for the Practice and Firm
  • Establish team policies and procedures
  • Senior Real Estate Attorney / Partner to lead its growing real estate practice.

Qualifications :

  • 10 + years of relevant real estate experience; lateral partner level
  • Licensed in Colorado
  • A strong desire to lead / build a team and serve their clients exceptionally.
  • Extensive experience with commercial acquisitions and dispositions, including title and survey review and negotiations, easement agreements, and commercial leasing (office, warehouse, and retail)
  • Experience with land use, multi / planned use development and entitlement work
  • Experience drafting covenants, commercial development agreements, and construction agreements
  • Experience with secured real estate financing agreements
  • Willingness to grow, lead, and mentor a practice group
  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school
  • Sufficient experience to be comfortable planning and accomplishing goals with a certain degree of creativity and latitude, while performing a variety of tasks under the general supervision of the supervising partner or senior attorney.
  • Excellent drafting skills coupled with strong analytical skills and the ability to formulate, consider, and evaluate potential solutions and to execute on chosen strategies.
  • An attorney who is determined, professional, well-informed, knowledgeable, attentive, and proactive.
  • Leadership experience with a proven ability to grow a Real Estate group.
  • A client first mindset and willingness to put in extra effort as client priorities dictate

  • Team player with a no task too small attitude.

Benefits and Compensation :

  • The salary range for this position is $150,000-$200,000 depending on experience, with a compelling bonus structure. Senior level attorneys are eligible for a bonus after reaching 1,500 billable hours permitting time for business development.
