About The Position
We are seeking a Hematology / Oncology Physician to provide coverage for one week, Monday to Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.
The physician will primarily see clinic patients, with the expectation of handling 1-2 inpatient consults daily. The clinic is well-supported by a dedicated exam nurse and administrative staff.
Responsibilities :
- See up to 18 clinic patients per day and handle 1-2 inpatient consults daily.
- Work independently in a well-supported clinic environment.
- Conduct follow-ups and manage treatment plans for patients with various hematological and oncological conditions.
- Inpatient visits are expected, with a typical day involving a dedicated exam nurse and administrative support.
- No admissions are required, but availability for after-hours clinical care questions and emergencies is expected.
- Cases : breast, lung, colon, prostate, melanoma, lymphoma and heme
Provider Requirements :
- Board Status : Board Certified or Board Eligible
- State License : Maryland license required to apply.
- Experience : Minimum of 3 years in Hematology / Oncology.
- Certifications : CSR License required; DEA not required.
