Patagon Search ( has an immediate need for Project Managers in Midtown Miami with a high-end construction client of ours.
They focus on luxury commercial projects (retail and hospitality) and custom built ultra luxury homes. This is a fully in office role in Miami.
The ideal candidate will oversee projects from bidding to execution. You will work with senior management and act as the point of contact for clients.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle
- Manage project budget
- Provide timely status reports to stakeholders
- Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, supplies, engineers, etc.)
- Compute costs by analyzing labor, material and time requirements
- Manage labor and general conditions costs on every project, in addition to contracted trades and materials
- Write contracts and purchase orders
- Manage RFI’s and coordinate with architects, engineers, superintendents and subcontractors
- Manage the change order process with subs, clients, owner’s reps and architects as required
- Organize, coordinate and lead weekly OAC meetings with agendas and schedule updates
- Communicate with field teams, senior project managers, accounting department, architects, engineers and owners
- Coordinate with subs and vendors to deliver services, labor, goods and other materials
- Review current buyout summary to determine job data, including Microsoft Project for schedule products
- Prepare construction estimates / pricing based on architects’ drawings, the number of employees needed for the job and the amount of material required
- Utilize advanced skills in computer data analysis and specific estimation software packages
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Industry knowledge and ability to read blueprints
- Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
