Nurse Practitioner - Madison County, IL (Sign on Bonus Available)
Job Type- Full-Time / Part-Time (Onsite)
Shift- Monday- Friday (Days)
Job Summary :
The Nurse Practitioner is an essential and interactive position that includes working directly with patients and working with the diagnosis and treatment of care.
Job responsibilities include ordering / performing selected diagnostic tests and procedures as indicated by the patient's condition such as obtaining complete health histories, accurate physical examinations, and administering treatment plans in collaboration with the practicing Physician.
Prescribe approved medications as outlined by the state regulatory acts. Instructing individuals and / or families about health or defined health problems as well as communicating the plan of care while maintaining privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Master's Degree in Nursing with is required.
Active Nurse Practitioner license to practice in IL.
Must also have their current CPR / BCLS certification.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
Prior Primary Care / Nursing Home / Skilled Facility Experience is required.
