Construction Project Manager
About the Role :
My client is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial construction projects in the Chicago area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to join a leading construction firm known for its quality work and commitment to client satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop detailed project plans.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably on commercial projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- PMP certification is a plus.
