Location : Memphis, TN Salary : $57,000 - $100,000 Job Description : Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer for their office in Memphis, TN, with a strong background in design and project management.
Responsibilities : Execute routine aspects of electrical engineering tasks with a solid grasp of fundamental principles.
Apply electrical circuit laws, lighting concepts, and equipment knowledge to practical scenarios. Research, develop, and design various equipment, facilities, and systems for healthcare, commercial, and industrial projects.
Focus on electrical systems for building projects, encompassing power systems, lighting, fire alarm, and other signaling systems.
Assess system goals and select or design equipment, controls, and communication systems accordingly. Conduct calculations and assessments for equipment and systems in healthcare, industrial, and commercial settings.
Prepare detailed plans and specifications supported by calculations and innovative engineering solutions to meet client and regulatory requirements.
Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software for project tasks. Demonstrate leadership and excellent communication skills while collaborating with project teams and clients.
Contribute to project planning, cost management, scheduling, and business development efforts, including proposal development and technical guidance.
Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. Registered Engineer;
Tennessee licensure preferred. Minimum of 5 years' experience as an electrical engineer; 10 years' experience preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills. Proven ability to interact professionally, build relationships, and lead teams.
Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Understanding of electrical engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
Familiarity with building materials, construction methods, building codes, and regulations. Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NFPA-70) and other NFPA Codes.
