Kava Culture Kava Bar is looking for experienced Bar Managers to join our growing tribe. Locations are available throughout the Orlando area!

Bartending / Hospitality Team Management experience is required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS

2+ years of experience in management / hospitality required; kava knowledge a plus, but willing to train the right individual.

Staff Management & Store Operations

• Upholding training standards and company policies including all food control and safety regulations
• Proactively monitor sales analytics & coach kavatenders with sales training
• Inventory audits, ordering, and maintaining bar supplies
• Cash management (cash drawer, petty cash, deposits)
• Create employee schedules based on expected customer numbers
• Implement, uphold, and quickly embrace new processes

Community Connection & Events

• Establish and diversify grassroots events incorporating music, art, crafts, entertainment, festivals, markets, meetups, gatherings, etc.
• Connect / network with the local community to generate positive bar ethos and environment
• Advertise the daily, weekly, and monthly promotions of the bar via social media

Leadership

• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, customer-focused bar, while maintaining an inviting, clean, and comfortable environment
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
• Establishing and maintaining a positive, welcoming VIBE at your store with particular attention toward music, lighting, and encouraging customer interaction
• Possess a positive attitude and ethics to support our core values and culture

Organizational

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to connect effectively with customers, employees, executive leadership, event vendors, and hosts
• Strong decision making skills and the ability to effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources
• Polished eye for detail and extreme attention to cleanliness and organization
• Strong time-management skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize

Physical

Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced environment

Availability

Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
