Overview
Provides administrative and publicity support to multiple Publicity Directors in the Harper Group
Responsibilities
Performs general administrative duties, including processing mailings to media, influencers, and booksellers, and managing of internal databases
Orders books and bound manuscripts; orders posters; creates mock-ups for media, and makes up press materials
Media research : Muckrack, Podchaser, social media, and more
Data entry of media and event bookings
Help creating seasonal catalogue collections for meetings
Books travel for authors, and helps organize and manage author media and tour schedules
Facilitates setting up meetings : for department, and with media and events coordinators
Pulls book assets from internal database
Submitting and managing invoices
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of prior administrative experience preferred
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite : Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proficiency with social media platforms a plus
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks to meet the required deadlines
Quick learner of new technologies and tools
Broad interest in books, literature, and current events a plus

The salary for this position is $50,300-$53,000. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company.

The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
