Description
Are you ready to make an impact in your community and provide critical care in a fast-paced environment? Our Urgent Recovery Center in Guthrie is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.
This position offers 12-hour shifts with 3.5 days / nights on 3.5 days / nights off, giving you the flexibility you need while delivering top-notch care to those who need it most.
As an LPN at the Urgent Recovery Center, you'll be part of a mission-driven organization committed to improving the health and well-being of our consumers.
This is an essential position where your presence directly supports the facility's operations, and you'll play a pivotal role in creating a safe, supportive environment for our consumers.
Some Key Responsibilities :
- Establish rapport with consumers, assess their needs, and provide direct face-to-face services.
- Administer medications as prescribed and provide health education on medication usage and chronic disease prevention.
- Conduct screenings with a priority for high-risk conditions and chronic illness.
- Monitor consumer eligibility for benefits and make referrals for Medicaid, Social Security, and other support programs.
- Provide pre-hospital screenings and crisis intervention services.
- Oversee the medication room, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with facility protocols.
- Participate in daily staff meetings and coordinate services with external providers to support consumer recovery.

Qualifications
Requirements :
- Must be licensed as a Practical Nurse in Oklahoma and have completed an accredited LPN curriculum.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with high flexibility.
- Proficiency in MS Word and intermediate computer skills required for managing electronic health records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with consumers and team members.
- Adherence to a casual professional dress code and ability to follow behavioral standards.
- Must have a valid Oklahoma driver's license and reliable transportation with current auto insurance, including uninsured motorist coverage.
