About The Position
Job Title : MRI Technician Job Specialty : MRI Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 01 : 30 PM-10 : 30 PM (Friday 10 : 30 PM-7 : 00 AM, Saturday / Sunday 7 : 00 PM-7 : 00 AM) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Not specified Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : Experience in operating MRI scanners and producing cross-sectional images Job Description : - Operate MRI scanner to obtain images used for diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
- Prepare and position patients, selecting precise anatomical and technical parameters. - Conduct patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education regarding the examination process.
- Enter and monitor patient data; transfer images to magnetic media and develop film as necessary. - Adhere to radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure timely submission and quality of all images and documents sent to PACS. - Ensure proper functioning of equipment, reporting potential issues or malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms. This format is now suitable for posting on a career site while adhering to the specified guidelines.
