Job Description :
The San Fernando Valley Cancer Center is seeking a distinguished and highly qualified physician to lead our Gastroenterology Division as Division Chief.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in gastroenterology, with a subspecialty interest in oncology, and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide visionary leadership and direction to the Gastroenterology Division.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care, integrating gastroenterology and oncology expertise.
- Oversee clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to ongoing clinical research, including participation in national clinical trials and drug development.
Qualifications :
- Board certification in Gastroenterology is required.
- Strong clinical expertise, with an emphasis on gastrointestinal oncology.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Preferred Experience :
- Prior experience as a Division Chief or in a similar leadership role within an academic or clinical setting.
- Prior involvement in research and publications in the field of gastroenterology and / or oncology.
