Director of Education and Staff Development / Infection Preventionist
Compensation : $120K - $135K + $15K Longevity Bonus
Job Type : Full-time, in-person position, Day Shift, Monday - Friday
Collaborating with a Long Term Care / Rehabilitation facility in Arverne, NY that is seeking a Director of Education and Staff Development / Infection Preventionist
DOE / IFC Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for Infection Control throughout the facility
- Provision of educational and development training services to enhance specialized patient care within established clinical protocols.
- Collaboration with patient care staff and unit management in the planning, implementation, and delivery of educational curricula.
- Initiation of clinical skills development programs within the parameters of established clinical and preceptorship models

Qualifications & Requirements :
- Valid RN license in New York State
- 1+ years Long-term care experience required
- 3+ years nursing experience required
- Infection control knowledge and previous educator experience
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
