Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Orora Packaging Solutions is seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team in supporting the business through reporting and analyzing financial information within the framework of the financial planning and analysis function as well as the accounting and finance function.

This role will be responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information for the business as well as develop analysis, projections, reports, and presentations;

create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.

This position reports to the : Manager, FP&A

Location : Hybrid- Buena Park, California (HQ office)

Travel Requirement : Up to 10%

FLSA Status : Exempt

What You'll be responsible For (Essential Job functions)

  • Primary responsibility for compiling and preparing month-end consolidated reporting for Orora Packaging Solutions (OPS).
  • Primary responsibility for key month-end consolidation processes, including upload and validation of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement in corporate consolidation system (HFM).
  • Key partner in capital expenditure planning and approval process including coordinating and maintaining corporate capital approval and performance tracking system.
  • Key partner in budgeting and forecasting OPS real estate costs and cash flow.
  • Develop various departmental budgets and rolling 12-month forecasts and provide monthly variance analysis.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis as needed using HFM and BPC Analysis and EPM
  • Lead and facilitate projects with business partners and IT to develop, automate and enhance consistent, accurate reporting.
  • Assist with month-end close and reporting activities.
  • Ensures compliance with Company Policies and Procedures and GAAP.
  • Performs other duties and / or responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience and Education

  • Minimum of 5+ years FP&A experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or related field required. M.B.A. is preferred.
  • Experience with financial consolidation and reporting software, e.g. BPC and / or HFM.
  • Strong analytical capability including comprehension of large, complex data sets and master dat

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to influence key business stakeholders to improve processes thru effective communication and education
  • Experience as a user with enterprise systems, including SAP
  • A hands-on, results-oriented approach to business with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Possess a 'customer first' attitude; demonstrate passionate commitment for the customer and product quality
