RISING GIANT IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY SEEKS OPERATIONS MANAGER
We're a successful fast-growing company based in Louisville, Kentucky. We're growing rapidly, undergoing a national expansion.
In the past five years, we've grown from 60 employees to over 400. We've averaged 50% revenue growth each year over the past eight years.
We're looking for an assertive Operations Manager who is driven and can work aggressively to maximize productivity to help play a part in our growth.
Purpose : Improve the operational systems, effectiveness, and revenue generation for our nationwide Account Managers. Oversee and improve processes and policies in support of the organization’s mission.
Summary :
Operations Managers oversee a nationwide fleet of field based account managers. They manage the day to day operations and drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
Operations managers develop standard operating procedures and implement best practices to ensure maximum efficiencies in the field.
They are responsible for training programs, reporting, sales objectives, budgets, oversight of inventory on vans, logistics, and the safety of our fleet.
Duties Critical to Success :
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Perform training for Account Managers
- Maintains regular outreach to remote team and responds quickly to requests for support
- Assist with inventory control
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to oversee and complete project management
- Actively utilizes and manages time
- Observable management and leadership skills
- Adhere to the duties listed in the Operations Manager job description and CKE code of conduct
Abilities Critical to Success :
- Able to successfully manage field based teams
- Able to lift boxes up to 25 pounds and work extended periods of time seated at a desk
- Relays information to corporate and the fleet that allow Account Managers to perform the role to the best of their ability
- Focused exclusively on account managers and their daily results
- Able to lead and motivate others
- Able to successfully manage up to 10 direct reports
- Able to develop the skills of each account manager to ensure a successful route and customer satisfaction
- Able to produce results for AM selling
- Must be able to read and interpret reports, implement KPIs, and come up with executable action plans
Deliverables :
- 100% of quota for Account Manager invoicing
- 100% of quota for Account Manager selling
- 100% accuracy on inventory counts in the fleet
- 100% of quota for Key buyback participation
- 100% of quota for new Account Manager placement
- 100% maximization of Account Manager routes
- Manage a team of up to 10 direct reports
Relations to supervisory and subordinating roles within the company :
- Immediate Supervisor : Tactical Operations Manager
- Direct Reports : Territory Managers, Account Managers and Operations Project Managers
Job specifications, standards and requirements :
- At least 3 years management experience,with experience on a national level preferred
- Excellent computer skills (must be able to touch type) and proficient in excel, word
- Superior communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing groups and major projects or initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards
- Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment
- Excellent people manager, open to direction
