We are seeking a Tax Manager or Tax Senior to join our growing team! We are a small CPA firm with 15 to 20 team members, and we’re looking to expand our tax department.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary : $95,000 to $150,000, depending on education and experience
- Additional Compensation : Signing and retention bonuses, commissions, performance bonuses, and other merit-based incentives

Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a candidate who meets many, but not necessarily all, of the following qualifications :
- Current CPA license (required)
- At least 3 years of public accounting experience in tax (4-5 years preferred)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong client interaction skills (in-person, phone, and video conferencing)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Problem-solving skills with a willingness to seek help when needed
- Passion for helping clients and team members optimize processes
- Experience with various business, personal, and not-for-profit tax returns
- Experience with UltraTax is a plus
Work Environment
- Location : South Salt Lake County (Draper, Utah)
- Work Arrangement : Approximately 30-40% remote work and 60-70% in-office or at client locations, based on individual needs and preferences.
Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime as required
Education & Experience
- Education : Master’s degree preferred
- Experience :
- Minimum of 3 years in tax accounting (required)
- 4 years in accounting (required)
- 4 years of experience with QuickBooks (preferred)
- 4 years of experience with Microsoft Excel (preferred)
- License / Certification : CPA license (required)
Relocation
Must be willing to relocate to Draper, UT 84020 before starting work
