About The Position
Physical Therapist (PT) - Traveler Job DescriptionOverview : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team as a traveler, delivering exceptional rehabilitation services across various healthcare facilities.
In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their overall physical function.
This position requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes in diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities : Patient Assessment : Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical abilities, mobility, and functional limitations to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs and goals.
Therapeutic Interventions : Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and functional training to improve patients’ strength, mobility, and overall physical function.
Patient Education : Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for home care to facilitate recovery and prevent re-injury.
Progress Monitoring : Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and modifications to therapy plans in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Collaboration : Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to coordinate patient care and optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Adaptability : Adjust to various facility protocols, treatment modalities, and patient populations while providing consistent, high-quality care.
Skills & Qualifications : Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to develop and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork.Knowledge of current physical therapy practices, evidence-based interventions, and regulatory standards.
Ability to adapt to new environments and work efficiently in diverse clinical settings.Education & Experience : Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice; eligibility to work in multiple states preferred.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with experience in diverse patient populations preferred.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
