The Sous Chef position at Skybokx 109 Sports Bar & Grill is a vital role in our kitchen. The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection.
This role requires a strong culinary background, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and developing new recipes
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation guidelines
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in managing kitchen operations, including scheduling and payroll
Requirements :
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
