Reports To : Executive Housekeeper

Supervises : Housekeeping Department

Pay Range : $28 - $29 per hour

Job Summary : The Housekeeping Supervisor assists the Executive Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, guest service, and operational efficiency. This role supervises staff, monitors cleanliness, and coordinates daily housekeeping operations to maintain a welcoming and well-maintained hotel environment.

Essential Functions and Duties :

• Inspects Guest Rooms and Public Areas
• Trains housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards
• Provides open communications to ensure maximum efficiency
• Monitors the condition of all housekeeping equipment for proper maintenance, cleaning, and repair to protect assets and ensure maximum efficiency and a safe work environment
• Ensures stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies.
• Provides support to the Housekeeping Management team to ensure that guest satisfaction scores meet or exceed brand benchmarks.
• Ensures quality services are provided to meet guest needs and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Prepares daily assignment sheets.
• Maintains cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring compliance with hotel objectives.
• Compiles and reports the status of all guestrooms to the Front Desk department.
• Works with the security office to manage lost and found items.
• Maintains departmental productivity and labor cost goals.
• Oversees inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment and assist with ordering as necessary.
• Complies with Company Work Rules and Standard of Conduct.
